Choose your stethoscope. Start with the Prestige Medical Clinical Lite for an entry level scope, step up to the Littmann Lightweight II S.E. for better acoustics during clinical assessments, or go with the Littmann Classic III, the stethoscope most instructors recommend for paramedic school. Add a fingertip pulse oximeter for accurate oxygen saturation readings.
