Meet the Man Behind the Mission

LJ started MedTech before he was married, driven by a clear problem and a relentless need to solve it. As a newly certified EMT, he saw how disorganized and stressful it was for students to get their clinical supplies. No central source. No guidance. Just confusion at the worst possible time.

So he built the solution himself.

What began with seven core items, packed by hand, has grown into a trusted supplier for EMS programs across the country. But LJ didn’t grow MedTech from a position of comfort, he built it while building a family. By the age of 25, he and his wife were raising four kids and running one of the fastest-growing clinical kit companies in EMS education.

That reality shaped everything.

When your family depends on you, there’s no time for fluff, ego, or half-efforts. Every decision, from what goes in a kit to how a school gets treated, comes from that place of urgency and responsibility.

LJ believes in making things that actually work, for people who actually need them. No shortcuts. Just better solutions for students who are training to save lives.

Started in School

Our journey began with the recognition of a significant gap in EMS education. When we went through our training, we were given a list of supplies to obtain, but no single source solution for obtaining all the necessary equipment. This frustration sparked the idea of an all-in-one kit, and thus MedTech was born.

Swift Shift

Nuestro viaje comenzó con el reconocimiento de una brecha significativa en la educación de EMS. Cuando realizamos nuestra capacitación, nos dieron una lista de suministros que debíamos obtener, pero ninguna solución única para obtener todo el equipo necesario. Esta frustración generó la idea de un kit todo en uno y nació MedTech.

Al principio, ofrecimos un kit prediseñado a las escuelas, pero pronto nos dimos cuenta de que cada escuela tenía necesidades únicas y muchas querían personalizar su kit. Esto impulsó un rápido giro hacia la oferta de lo que ahora llamamos kits clínicos personalizados. Adaptamos nuestra línea de productos para permitir a las escuelas crear kits que coincidieran exactamente con los requisitos de sus estudiantes.
